Disney's Magical Mirrior Starring Mickey Mouse
The magic in this Disney title died before it was even released.

Parents and children beware! The video-game industry is facing a new threat against horrible games! And this next game isn't just horrible; it's actually humiliating to play. I'm sorry, but I thought point-and-click died out in the early 90s, wake up Capcom, Magical Mirror starring Mickey Mouse is a disgrace to the entire industry and one of America's most loved cartoon characters!

To start off, the game's storyline is not exciting at all. Mickey goes to sleep, and next to his bed is a "Magical" mirror. During Mickey's sleep, his conscious or soul, or whatever that translucent Mickey is slips out of his body as he sees a silly-looking ghost-like figure go through the mirror. Soul-Mickey, if it's okay to call him that, follows him through like the dumb mouse Capcom portrays him as, and pops through the mirror, taking him into a large Wacky-looking mansion. No, this isn't a Luigi's Mansion, and yes, it is much shorter than Luigi's Mansion. The whole point of this game is to find the missing pieces of the scattered mirror, while solving brain-numbingly easy puzzles throughout. Once the pieces are collected, Soul-Mickey can peacefully return into Mickey's body. Added onto the horrible story, is the unbelievably terrible gameplay. Teenagers aren't meant to play Point-and-Click games, and in this case this game's not even meant for toddlers. Maybe a slightly younger age group, like to fetus age group, if it's possible. Boy, it sure was hard to play this game knowing you have to write a review for it, as it was boring the life out of me.

The graphics are decent, nothing spectacular. The character models are very odd, too. Mickey's eyes appear to be somewhat sunk-in, making him look kind of creepy. The annoying ghost that obviously has no life and follows you around everywhere looks very weird as well. Kind of like a floating piece of paper with a flap in the shape of a mouth, and two holes for eyes. The mansion itself looks very wacky, and most textures are very plain, and try to emulate the look of a cartoon. Games should always have great animation, especially when based on a cartoon. This is another point in which Mickey falls short in. The animations are nothing greater than decent, so don't expect Mickey's classic antics to be as fun to watch.

The sound in this title is unbelievably annoying. Mickey repeats the same four or five phrases over and over; the music is no help, either. While it may be decent, there are only about four tracks in the entire game. Once again, music is another drawback in this title.

The Replay Value? Say what? There is absolutely no replay value in this boring title. Almost nothing holds my interest in this game. I'm sorry, but I just don't have the time or strength to ever play through this title ever again. I literally couldn't keep my eyes open when playing this game, why would anyone ever want to play this game multiple times? To put it short, Nintendo should be ashamed that they helped make this unworthy exclusive title. Wow, and you were expecting a decent game, weren't you? Too bad, Disney's Magical Mirror starring Mickey Mouse is one of the most boring games I have ever played in my entire life. I can't believe I gave that rat my $49.99. I hope those of you planning to get this title think twice, because if you don't your money will be sorely exchanged for a four-hour piece-of-crap.
